Company Profile

For the past 25 years WA Publishing, founded in 1982, has been a medium and the mouthpiece initially for the German and since the end of the nineties also for the European promotional products branch. After a management buyout, Klaus Stallbaum and Michael Scherer took over the management of the publishing house in the mid-nineties. Together they have developed WA Publishing, based in Cologne, into a European multimedia platform for the promotional products trade and for promotional products decision-makers.

Werbeartikel Nachrichten

The target group for the monthly insider magazine is the promotional products trade: distributors and advertising agencies in German-speaking Europe. The magazine offers comprehensive product presentations, branch news, trade show reports, case studies and portraits. The circulation totals 10,000 copies per issue (print circulation is IVW-confirmed).

eppi magazine

   

This international, English-language magazine for promotional products distributors is published throughout Europe (excluding Germany, Austria and Switzerland). The editorial concept is analogue to that of the Werbeartikel Nachrichten, as described above, is however oriented exclusively towards the international market.

The magazine’s print circulation has in the meantime reached 20,000 copies – the distribution list contains over 21,000 addresses in 65 countries which receive the magazine on a rota basis.

The magazine for network marketing addresses managing directors, marketing decision-makers, manufacturers, agencies and brand name companies in the German-speaking zone of Europe. With a circulation of 30,000 copies, Promotion Products reaches the target group of the promotional products purchasers within all German branded and industry companies.

Promotional Gift Award

Introduced in 2002, the Promotional Gift Award (PGA) is an established, international competition distinguishing innovative and future-oriented promotional products, which is conducted annually by WA Publishing in Cologne.
This communication prize is unique in the promotional products branch. As such it lends         products that have received a Promotional Gift Award a unique selling point. The award winners stand out from the competition – an essential asset for suppliers and users in a market swamped with products.

Pro 9

Pro 9 – the annual European promotional products show and congress - is a platform that places the emphasis on knowledge transfer. Pro 9 is the network event of the European promotional products branch held in Amsterdam. The promotional products market is becoming more and more international at an increasingly faster pace. The branch is subject to permanent change. Not only externally, i.e. through European legislation, but also internally. For instance as a result of the establishment of new marketing technologies, cross-border cooperations and associations as well as globally-operating industry customers. Pro 9 is an initiative of Het Portaal Uitgevers (the Netherlands ) and WA Publishing (Germany).
